COMACC Accelerators are either single-metal or multi-metal metallic soaps based on synthetic monocarboxylic and naphtenic acids depending on the application. They are supplied in liquid form and are stable, highly soluble and carefully controlled to ensure that product quality comply with corresponding specification data sheets. COMACC Accelerators can be supplied in various metal concentrations or combinations thereof and solvents depending on customers' requirements.

Cobalt is used to accelerate the curing of unsaturated polyester resins and may be used on its own or in conjunction with other metals like Potassium, Sodium and Copper to obtain optimal results. COMACC Cobalt accelerators can be supplied at various concentrations and solvents according to customers\\\' needs.
In certain applications Potassium can be used to enhance the effectivity of Cobalt and offers the advantage of a lighter coloured cured polyester resin.

Comar has developed a new Sodium Accelerator, that replaces the traditional Potassium Accelerator, which is used in the curing of Unsaturated Polyester Resins. The advantage of Sodium over Potassium is that its use will lead to lighter coloured cured resins, while providing all the functions of Potassium in conjunction with Cobalt.
Copper is used to retard the cure of unsaturated polyester systems and is known to lower the peak of the exotherm in certain formulations.
This product is a cobalt feeder, and is used in conjunction with standard Cobalt Accelerators. Its function is to maintain the activity of the cobalt accelerator of a period of time.
